Mission: Grow Participation in Archery Shooting Sports
Vision: Provide archery shooting opportunities to new and existing archers by providing an indoor facility that will be available for recreational, educational, and competitive archery practice and events.
Who: The indoor facility is available for the 4-H youth archery program, archery for schools programs, JOAD programs, archery clubs, hunters wishing to practice, and the general public.
We have NO paid employee’s. All operations are run by volunteers and hours are dependent on availability of these volunteers.
What: The NFAA certified building offers 3-D and paper target shooting daily/weekly (depending on the season and participation levels), subject to availability of NFAA certified instructors who will supervise all archery activities. Archery club use, sponsored event use, and general public use will generate fees to offset annual costs. We have two broadhead targets available for use at hourly rates. The building cost is being paid for by an individual donor and his wife (building down payment and loan principal payments are being made by them). The ongoing annual operating expenses (except interest expense for the term of the loan) are generally being covered by usage fees. Initial target systems, supplies, and equipment are being funded from advertising dollars and donor contributions.
(Advertising Opportunities) We are actively looking for businesses interested in underwriting the cost of our youth programs, annual interest expense currently of $13,200 and for Rinehart 3-D targets estimated at $35,000 (one time). For businesses, contributions will generally be in the form of advertising. For individuals wanting to make charitable contributions, the Nebraska Shooting Sports Foundation has agreed to earmark donor requested dollars for targets, equipment and supplies to be used at Archery Solutions, LLC. We will re-assess advertising revenue needs annually and adjust advertising pricing accordingly. For giving levels please see underwriting/advertising link in forms tab.
Why: Prior to January 2015 (when we opened) central Nebraska did not have a dedicated heated indoor archery facility in the tri-city area, or anywhere close to the tri-cities, that allowed for up to 50 meter or 55 yard target and/or 3-D indoor archery shooting.
When: Please see calendar tab for business hours. January-March we are generally open to the public at least 4 days a week (excluding holidays and special events). April-December hours are dependent on participation levels and availability of Range Safety Officers (RSO’s).
